Vessels Of Virtue

2012

Making  a Difference

The Vessels Of Virtue is a ladies fellowship under the direction and leadership of The Answer Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. We meet on a monthly basis for a time of devotion and Godly fellowship.  We strive to be of an encouragement to one another and to lift up Gods holy name with all that we do. For everything is by Him and for Him. The ladies and I would like to extend an invitation from our hearts that you may come and visit with us.  We pray that you will feel led to join us in services which can be found on our homepage.

Our theme verse for 2012 is found in Jude 1:22.  There is no doubt that we have either been hurt or let down at some point in our lives. And there is no doubt that we ourselves have hurt or let someone down through the years. But through it all we must understand that God makes no mistakes. I have often heard the saying, "what doesn't kill you, will surely make you stronger." Oh, what a powerful and truthful statement. And yet we have the audacity to question the Almighty God when things aren't going as we think they should.

In Jude 1:22 the bible says, "And of some have compassion, making a difference." The ladies of the Answer Baptist Church are striving to make a difference in the lives of others. As we lift others up to God in prayer, as we witness to lost souls, as we help those in need, as we encourage others, as we show compassion on those that may never see it otherwise.....all for the glory of God. Everyone can make a difference in someone else's life but the question is....What kind of difference? You can make a difference that has a negative impact  or you can be that one person that makes ALL the difference in one's life! You see, God made all the difference in my life on February 19, 1995 and now as I am trying to follow His example. I can only pray that I can be a small part of a BIG difference in someone's life. This is what every lady here at The Answer wants to do....we pray that you will allow us the opportunity to see DIFFERENCES being made in many different ways!
